THE EVENT: The Universal Hip Hop Museum and our sponsor, Microsoft, invite you to share your own unique perspectives and aspirations to inform our groundbreaking museum project in The Bronx, which will celebrate Hip Hop Culture's past, present and future. Our team is conducting a series of envisioning sessions in cities across the nation including Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta and New York. This envisioning session will focus on how The Universal Hip Hop Museum should use technologies by Microsoft to generate museum experiences celebrating Atlanta's various contributions to Hip Hop Culture.
The envisioning session will be a series of interactive group discussions and activities between hip hop artists, community members, activists and academics representing all five elements of the culture, DJing, Graffiti, MCing, Breaking and Knowledge. You won’t need to bring anything apart from yourself and refreshments will be available before, during and after your session.
